Job Overview
This role focuses on ensuring compliance with Moroccan and EU data protection laws, including the Moroccan Data Protection Act and GDPR. The ideal candidate will develop and implement privacy strategies, conduct audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data security standards. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with data protection regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and privacy impact analyses
- Develop training programs for employees on data privacy best practices
- Act as the primary point of contact for data subject requests
- Collaborate with legal teams to address regulatory inquiries
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data privacy frameworks (GDPR, Moroccan Data Protection Act)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in French and Arabic preferred
- Project management experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Law, or Information Security
- Certifications such as CIPP/E or CISSP are advantageous
Experience
- 3-5 years in data privacy, compliance, or cybersecurity roles
- Experience in telecommunications or tech industry preferred
Salary
35,000 – 45,000 MAD/year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
