Job Overview

WWF Morocco is seeking a passionate and experienced Sustainable Fisheries Management Specialist to lead initiatives in Larache. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement sustainable fisheries management plans aligned with WWF’s global conservation goals.
• Conduct field research and data analysis to assess the health of marine ecosystems and fish populations.
• Collaborate with local fishing communities to promote eco-friendly fishing techniques and policies.
• Develop educational programs to raise awareness about marine conservation and sustainable practices.
• Monitor and report on the impact of conservation initiatives to stakeholders and funding partners.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in marine biology, fisheries science, or environmental conservation.
• Strong analytical and project management skills with experience in field research.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in GIS mapping and data analysis tools.
• Fluency in Arabic and French is preferred.

Education

• Master’s Degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.

Experience
