Job Overview:WWF Morocco is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sustainable Water Resources Manager to join our team in Tétouan. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our water resources management program, working closely with government agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable water management practices. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people and the environment in Morocco.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable water management plans and policies
- Collaborate with government agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders to promote water conservation and efficient use
- Conduct research and analysis to identify and address water-related issues and opportunities
- Develop and manage budgets and project plans to achieve program goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and other partners
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Water Resources Management, or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in water resources management, conservation, or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful water management programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluency in Arabic and French, with English as a plus
