Job Overview

The Agricultural Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for optimizing end‑to‑end supply chain processes for Cargill’s grain and oilseed operations in Morocco. This includes demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics coordination, and performance analytics. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for grain and oilseed products using statistical models and market intelligence.
  • Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers, ensuring optimal stock balances to meet service level agreements.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation mode selection, carrier negotiations, and route optimization.
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose data‑driven improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with procurement to align supplier lead times with production schedules.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting key trends, cost savings, and risk exposures.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by tracking carbon footprint and implementing eco‑efficient practices.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of Moroccan agricultural markets, import/export regulations, and customs procedures.
  • Project management experience, preferably with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a plus.

Education

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or a master’s degree in a relevant field are advantageous and demonstrate a commitment to professional development.

Experience

A minimum of three to five years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations within the agricultural or food processing industry is required. Prior exposure to multinational environments and familiarity with Moroccan market dynamics will be considered strong assets.

Salary
