Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement using lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 methodologies.
  • Design, pilot, and implement new production line layouts, workstations, and tooling to increase throughput and reduce cycle time.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new vehicle models and components.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis for production issues and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, yield, and defect rates, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the manufacturing floor.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, including stamping, welding, painting, and assembly.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Hands‑on experience with data analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, or Python for statistical process control.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
  • Effective communication skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Project management expertise with the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability principles.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in automotive manufacturing process engineering, preferably within a high‑volume production environment. Experience with global automotive standards (IATF 16949) and exposure to electric vehicle (EV) platforms will be viewed favorably.

Salary
