Job Overview
The Cloud Solutions Architect will design, implement, and optimize cloud‑based architectures for Dell’s enterprise clients in Morocco and the broader MENA region. This role involves close collaboration with sales, engineering, and professional services teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions. The architect will also guide customers through migration strategies, ensure compliance with local regulations, and champion best practices in cloud governance. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive cloud architecture designs aligned with client business objectives and Dell’s technology standards.
- Lead end‑to‑end cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, execution, and post‑migration optimization.
- Collaborate with sales teams to craft compelling technical proposals and respond to RFPs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and consultants.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance requirements specific to Moroccan regulations.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Participate in pre‑sales workshops, proof‑of‑concept demonstrations, and client workshops.
- Document architecture blueprints, best practice guides, and knowledge‑base articles for internal and external use.
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and micro‑services architecture.
- Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with security frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, Moroccan data protection laws).
- Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on innovative, cost‑effective solutions.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions for enterprise customers. Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment, especially within the North African market, will be valued.
Salary
