Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Geoinformatics Research Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in geoinformatics, developing and applying geospatial technologies to address real-world problems, and mentoring students and junior researchers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geoinformatics, geospatial analysis, and programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in geoinformatics, focusing on the application of geospatial technologies to address complex environmental and social issues.
- Develop and apply geospatial analysis and modeling techniques to address real-world problems.
- Mentor students and junior researchers in geoinformatics and related fields.
- Collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders to develop and implement geoinformatics projects.
- Communicate research findings and results through publications, presentations, and other media.
Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Geoinformatics or related field.
- Strong background in geospatial analysis and programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with geospatial software and tools, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or GRASS.
Education
Ph.D. in Geoinformatics or related field from a reputable university.
Experience
8-12 years of experience in geoinformatics research and development, with a strong background in geospatial analysis and programming languages.
Salary
50,000 – 70,000 SSP per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
