Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Geophysics Research Scientist to join our faculty in the Department of Geophysics. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in geophysics, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and advising students.

The Geophysics Research Scientist will work closely with faculty members in the Department of Geophysics to develop and implement research projects, publish research papers, and secure funding for research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in geophysics, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in geophysics
  • Advise students on research projects and academic matters
  • Develop and implement research projects, including securing funding and collaborating with international partners
  • Publish research papers in reputable scientific journals

  • Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field
  • Strong research background in geophysics, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation
