Job Description (JD)

OP Mobility is currently seeking an experienced and highly strategic Global Data Practice Manager to join its global data leadership team in Morocco.

Reporting directly to the Group Data Officer, the selected candidate will be responsible for establishing, managing, and scaling the organization’s global data practice while overseeing the successful delivery of international data projects.

The role requires a strong leader capable of managing multidisciplinary teams including Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers, and Data Scientists, while ensuring operational excellence, innovation, and adherence to enterprise-wide data standards.

The Global Data Practice Manager will play a critical role in defining and executing OPmobility’s global data strategy, improving data governance, enabling business intelligence, and ensuring high-quality data solutions across multiple business functions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Global Data Practice Manager will oversee the following areas:

1. Team Leadership & Capacity Management

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop highly skilled data professionals and technical talents
  • Design and implement employee training and career development plans
  • Foster an innovative and collaborative working environment across global teams
  • Manage workforce capacity planning based on strategic priorities and operational requirements
  • Build partnerships with universities and academic institutions to attract top-tier talent

2. Data Standards & Best Practices

  • Define and implement global standards, frameworks, and best practices for data development and integration

    • Data Engineering
    • Business Intelligence (BI)

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 years of leadership or team management experience within global or multinational environments
