Job Overview
The Green Building Energy Auditor will assess energy performance of commercial and residential structures in Casablanca, ensuring compliance with Moroccan and international sustainability standards. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits for new and existing buildings to identify efficiency improvements
- Develop energy-saving strategies aligned with ISO 50001 and LEED certification requirements
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate renewable energy systems
- Prepare detailed reports with cost-benefit analyses for clients
- Monitor post-construction energy performance metrics
Required Skills
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST)
- Knowledge of Moroccan building codes and sustainability regulations
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation
- Excellent communication for client presentations
- Bilingual (Arabic/French or Arabic/English)
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- LEED AP or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years in energy auditing or sustainable construction
- Experience with Moroccan climate-specific building challenges
Salary
35,000 – 45,000 SSP per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
