Job Overview

The Green Building Energy Auditor will assess energy performance of commercial and residential structures in Casablanca, ensuring compliance with Moroccan and international sustainability standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct energy audits for new and existing buildings to identify efficiency improvements
  • Develop energy-saving strategies aligned with ISO 50001 and LEED certification requirements
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate renewable energy systems
  • Prepare detailed reports with cost-benefit analyses for clients
  • Monitor post-construction energy performance metrics

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST)
  • Knowledge of Moroccan building codes and sustainability regulations
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation
  • Excellent communication for client presentations
  • Bilingual (Arabic/French or Arabic/English)

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • LEED AP or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred

Experience

  • 3-5 years in energy auditing or sustainable construction
  • Experience with Moroccan climate-specific building challenges

Salary

35,000 – 45,000 SSP per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
