Job Purpose

The Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for monitoring supplier quality performance, ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards, conducting supplier audits, managing supplier complaints, and improving raw material quality processes.

Key Job Responsibilities

Supplier Quality Management

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure proper follow-up of incoming inspection of raw materials.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and product conformity.
  • Manage supplier complaints using 8D reports through the Supplier Quality Tracking System (SQTS).
  • Coordinate corrective actions and preventive improvement measures.

Quality Audits and Compliance

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting audits in:
    • Raw Material Warehouse
    • Picking Areas
    • Transportation Trucks
    • Supplier-related operational processes
  • Verifying compliance with quality management standards.
  • Supporting internal and external supplier quality assessments.

PPAP and Component Validation

The SQA Engineer will:

  • Request and manage PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation.
  • Ensure required approvals and signatures through the Part Homologation (PH) system.
  • Validate supplier quality requirements before production implementation.
  • Monitor supplier engineering and process changes.
