Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our growing team in Laayoune. This role is critical to our mission of streamlining logistics operations and reducing transit times across the North African corridor. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction within our regional distribution networks. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze regional distribution patterns to identify and eliminate logistical bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement mathematical models to optimize inventory levels and transport routes.
  • Collaborate with regional warehouse managers to improve throughput and storage efficiency.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to transit times, fuel consumption, and cargo integrity.
  • Utilize advanced ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track real-time movement of goods.
  • Propose and lead pilot projects for automated sorting and tracking technologies.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to ensure supplier delivery schedules align with demand forecasts.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
  • Deep understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate between various stakeholders and departments.
  • Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies.

Education

A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related quantitative field is required. Candidates with specialized certifications in Lean or Six Sigma will be given preference.

Experience

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in supply chain optimization, logistics planning, or operations management within a large-scale multinational corporation is essential. Proven experience in using data-driven decision-making to improve operational efficiency is highly desirable.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 15,000 SSP to 22,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and technical expertise.
