Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Urban Planner to join our team in Marrakech, Morocco. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading urban planning projects, developing sustainable urban design solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead urban planning projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement sustainable urban design solutions that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with local government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform urban planning decisions and develop innovative solutions.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on sustainable urban design.
  • Proven track record of leading urban planning projects and delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and analysis.
  • Proficiency in urban planning software and tools, including ArcGIS and Autodesk.

Education

A Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field is required. A Ph.D. in Urban Planning or related field is an asset.

Experience

8-12 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on sustainable urban design.

Salary

The salary for this position is 50,000 – 70,000 SSP per year, depending on experience.
