Job Overview

The Construction Project Controls Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that large‑scale civil engineering projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed cost and schedule baselines using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Generate weekly and monthly performance reports, variance analyses, and forecast updates for senior management.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and construction teams to identify and mitigate schedule risks.
  • Implement earned value management (EVM) techniques to assess project health and profitability.
  • Maintain a centralized project controls database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Support contract administration by tracking change orders, claims, and financial impacts.
  • Facilitate regular project control meetings, presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost‑control software such as CostX or Sage.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a solid understanding of earned value management.
  • Excellent communication skills in French, Arabic, and English for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Moroccan construction regulations, standards, and labor practices.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with experience in multidisciplinary project environments.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as PMP, PMI‑ACP, or AACE Certified Cost Professional are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in project controls for large‑scale construction projects, preferably within the Middle‑East or North‑African region. Demonstrated experience in managing complex schedules, cost tracking, and risk assessment is essential.

Salary

The competitive compensation package ranges from 180,000 to 250,000 SSP per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and allowances are also part of the total remuneration.
