Job Overview:As a Geophysics Research Scientist at the University of Ouarzazate, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to the advancement of our understanding of the Earth’s systems. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team and help us achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct research projects in geophysics, including fieldwork and laboratory experiments
- Analyze and interpret data from various sources, including seismic and gravitational measurements
- Develop and maintain relationships with international collaborators and partners
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and funding applications
- Supervise and mentor graduate students and research assistants
Required Skills:
- Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field
- Proven track record of research experience and publications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education:
- Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field
- Master’s degree in Geophysics or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics or a related field
Experience:
- 5-10 years of research experience in geophysics
- Experience in fieldwork and laboratory experiments
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation
- Experience in supervising and mentoring graduate students and research assistants
Salary:30000-60000 SSP/year
