Job Overview
The Logistics Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day activities of the Nador operations center, ensuring that shipments are processed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with local and international regulations. This position reports to the Regional Operations Director and collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams including Customer Service, Customs, Transportation, and IT. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipment processing, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and on‑time delivery targets.
- Manage a team of supervisors, coordinators, and operational staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
- Develop and implement process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to reduce cycle times and operational costs.
- Coordinate with customs authorities to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and resolve any clearance issues.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, error rates, and cost per shipment, and report results to senior management.
- Lead the planning and execution of peak season staffing and resource allocation to meet fluctuating demand.
- Ensure health, safety, and security standards are maintained across the facility, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with IT to optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) and integrate new technologies such as automation and IoT sensors.

- In‑depth knowledge of international freight regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.

Education

Experience
A minimum of five to seven years of progressive experience in logistics operations, preferably within a multinational express or freight forwarding environment, is required. Salary
