Job Overview
Lead the development and implementation of marine renewable energy projects along Morocco’s Atlantic coastline. This role requires strategic planning, technical expertise in ocean energy systems, and coordination with local stakeholders to advance Morocco’s renewable energy goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for marine renewable energy installations
- Conduct feasibility studies for offshore wind and tidal energy sites
- Coordinate with marine biologists and environmental scientists for impact assessments
- Oversee equipment procurement and installation for ocean energy infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with Moroccan maritime regulations and international safety standards
Required Skills
- Expertise in offshore energy technologies (tidal, wave, or offshore wind)
- Project management certification (PMP or PRINCE2 preferred)
- Proficiency in marine environmental impact assessment tools
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Technical knowledge of subsea cable systems and marine engineering
Education
