Job Overview
The Supply Chain Optimization Analyst will work within the Supply Chain department to analyze, design, and implement data‑driven solutions that improve inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics performance for Nestlé’s product portfolio in the Oujda region. The analyst will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Production, Procurement, Sales, and Finance, to ensure seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers while maintaining high service levels and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze end‑to‑end supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain advanced forecasting models using statistical and machine‑learning techniques.
- Collaborate with Procurement to optimize supplier lead times and order quantities.
- Monitor inventory levels across warehouses, ensuring optimal stock‑turn ratios while minimizing waste.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance dashboards for senior management.
- Support the implementation of ERP enhancements and integration projects.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis for supply disruptions and propose corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, or Power BI).
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, including demand planning and logistics.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills for presenting insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Fluency in Arabic, French, and English.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or a Master’s degree are advantageous and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics, demand planning, or logistics optimization, preferably within the food & beverage or consumer goods sector. Experience with multinational corporations and exposure to regional market dynamics in North‑East Morocco will be highly valued.
