Job Overview
The Agricultural Drone Operations Manager will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of UAV‑based services for precision farming across the eastern agricultural belt. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team of pilots, data analysts, and agronomists to deliver high‑value insights on crop health, irrigation efficiency, and pest management. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational protocols for drone flights, data acquisition, and processing in compliance with Moroccan civil aviation regulations.
- Coordinate with sales and agronomy teams to design customized drone service packages that address specific crop and regional challenges.
- Manage a team of certified UAV pilots, ensuring safety standards, flight planning accuracy, and continuous skill development.
- Oversee data pipelines from flight capture to analytics, integrating outputs with AGCO’s Farm Management Software for actionable farmer recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as flight efficiency, data turnaround time, and client satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with research partners and government agencies on pilot projects that explore advanced sensing technologies and AI‑driven analytics.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting operational successes, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in UAV operation, flight planning software (e.g., DJI Pilot, Pix4D), and aerial data processing.
- Strong understanding of precision agriculture concepts, remote sensing, and agronomic data interpretation.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on safety culture and professional development.
- Ability to navigate Moroccan aviation regulations and obtain necessary flight permits.
- Effective communication skills to translate technical findings into clear recommendations for farmers and stakeholders.

Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Geomatics, or a related field is required. Candidates with a Master’s degree or specialized certifications in UAV operations, GIS, or precision agriculture will be given preference.
Experience
Applicants must have 5–7 years of hands‑on experience operating agricultural drones, managing data analytics projects, or leading precision farming initiatives. Prior experience in a managerial role within the agri‑technology sector is highly desirable.
Salary
